Maine has always stood for neighbors looking out for one another, not fear or intimidation. We believe our communities are strongest when everyone feels safe, supported, and treated with dignity—no matter where they’re from. This page is about affirming Maine’s values: community over cruelty, care over coercion, and standing together to protect the people who call this place home.
